Platypus Products (the Company) warrants its Wheelchairs, Pool Chairs, Beach Chairs, Commodes and other products to be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for the stated periods from date of purchase as follows:
PVC Frames - 12 months from date of shipping Castors, Wheels, Padded seats, - 6 months from date of shipping Fabric and Accessories - 3 months from date of shipping The obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repairing or replacing, within a reasonable period of time after you have returned the product to us, any part of the product which the Company agrees is defective under normal use and service, free of charge and deliver it back to you free of charge.
No agent, representative, dealer or employee of the Company has the authority to increase or alter the obligations of the Company under this Warranty. The Company will not repair or replace free of charge any product or part which has been found to have been misused or damaged by accident; or modified, repaired or altered in any way; or had its serial number removed without the express consent of the Company.
